Director & Lead Teacher Pre-K/Kindergarten

For the past four years, Judy Stuart has served as a lead educator and Director at Orange County Academy, sharing her love for children and her deep Christian faith. Prior to joining the OCA family, she spent 19 years at St. Luke’s, where she built an enduring legacy of care and service. Judy finds immense joy in her family and the simple beauty of lake life. Her nurturing presence and decades of experience help create a warm, welcoming environment where OCA’s youngest learners can truly thrive.

Lisa Asanowicz​

Educational Administrator & Student Advocate 

 

Since joining Orange County Academy in 2018, Lisa Asanowicz has played a vital role as a teacher, curriculum developer, and academic advisor. Originally from Ohio, Lisa holds a degree in Geology and Speech Communications and maintains Florida Professional Teaching Certifications in General Science 5th-9th grade and Earth-Space Science 6th - 12th grade. With over 20 years of experience in ability-based classrooms—including coaching a team to the National Science Olympiad—she brings a high level of academic rigor to her work. Lisa is deeply committed to supporting at-risk students, helping them discover their unique strengths and navigate the path to graduation and beyond.

Patrick O. Odoyo

Campus Operations & Lead Teacher, Elementary

 

As the Lead Teacher and head of Campus Operations, Patrick Odoyo plays a dual role in shaping both the academic and structural success of Orange County Academy. With a deep commitment to youth advocacy and social impact, Patrick oversees the daily rhythms of the campus while ensuring that the campus curriculum framework remains engaging and mission-aligned. His leadership extends beyond the classroom into strategic partnerships and expansion efforts. Passionate about empowering the next generation of "InnoPreneurs," Patrick is dedicated to creating an environment where Bithlo’s students are equipped with the leadership skills and character necessary to thrive. Outside of his professional work, Patrick enjoys connecting with the local community and exploring new ways to foster innovation and growth.

Stephanie Seedat

High School Educator 

 

Stephanie Seedat is a mission-driven educator and curriculum developer dedicated to preparing students for real-world success through life literacy and project-based learning. As the Founder of Early Risers and Executive Director of The Rise Early Foundation, Stephanie has designed K-12 programs that strengthen leadership, entrepreneurship, and financial independence. At Orange County Academy, she blends business strategy with classroom instruction to equip students with the practical tools and confidence they need for high school, college, and future careers

Allisson Escalante

Middle School Educator

Known affectionately as "Miss Allee," Allisson Escalante brings an adventurous, "go-getter" spirit to the middle school classroom. With a diverse background ranging from U.S. Army training and artistic roles at Disney to earning her CDA in childcare facility operation, Allison is a natural problem-solver. Currently pursuing a degree in Non-Profit Organization Management at UCF, she is a gospel songwriter and entrepreneur who is passionate about spreading kindness and inspiring her students to pursue their own ambitious ventures.

Danika Trinidad

Assistant Educator, Elementary

A Bithlo native and 2024 graduate of Orange County Academy, Danika Trinidad brings an invaluable firsthand perspective and a deep-rooted community connection to her role. As an alumna, she stands as a powerful bridge between the school’s mission and its students, serving as a living testament to the success and leadership fostered at OCA. Danika is passionate about personal growth and shared experiences, viewing her work as a vital opportunity to pour back into the neighborhood that shaped her. Her presence in the classroom provides students with a relatable mentor who understands their journey. Outside of work, Danika cherishes meaningful connections with her loved ones and finds balance in the simple joy of relaxing with her favorite stories.

Kori Werner

A Bithlo native and 2025 graduate of Orange County Academy, Kori Werner brings a unique perspective and deep community connection to her role. As an alumna, she serves as a powerful bridge between the school’s mission and its students, embodying the success and growth that OCA fosters. Kori is dedicated to supporting a high-energy, faith-filled learning environment where students feel safe to explore and grow. She works closely with the lead teaching team to ensure every child receives the individual attention and encouragement they need during their foundational early childhood years, bringing a steadfast commitment to the neighborhood that raised her.

Judy Jones

Algebra & Geometry Educator​

Dr. Judith “Judy” Jones brings a wealth of academic prestige to Orange County Academy, holding an Ed.D. in Mathematics Education from UCF and an M.S.T. in Chemistry from the University of Florida. After a distinguished career as a Professor Emeritus at Valencia College, Judy now dedicates her expertise to shaping the minds of OCA’s mathematics students. Beyond the chalkboard, she is a passionate advocate for emotional well-being, often visiting campus with her certified therapy dogs, Kelley and Kacey. By blending high-level instruction with the comfort of therapy visits, Dr. Judy provides a uniquely supportive environment for every student.

Susan Paras

Dedicated Volunteer Project Coordinator​

With over 45 years of experience as a business owner, Susan Paras brings a rare blend of professional efficiency and warmth to Orange County Academy. For the past three years, Susan has become a vital part of the school’s daily operations, handling everything from menu planning and project support to campus logistics. Affectionately known as a “jack of all trades,” her problem-solving spirit and high energy are indispensable. A lifelong nurturer, Susan’s dedication to service ensures that the heart of OCA’s mission remains organized and strong.

Pursuant to section 1002.421(l)(j), F.S., each teacher possesses one of the following:  Bachelor's Degree or higher in any subject, three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience, or special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects.
